“And that is the end of our lesson today!”
The teacher, Ms. Adela said to the four students.

Bing ding bong, went the bell, and it was time for the students to take a break.

“Now, everyone, remember to not
go too far out today during break,”
Ms. Adela warned,
“or else there’s no dessert, and
Father Claude will be furious!”

“Let’s go outside anyways,” Lisette said, “There’s plenty of adventure outside!”
Lisette loved to break rules and go on adventures.

“But I don’t want my dessert to be taken away!” Peaches said, thinking about the food she’d miss.
“If we go outside, my robes will get dirty.” Samuel stated, not wanting to get in a mess.

“I’d rather study, instead of fooling around.” Winfrey huffed, wanting to do his schoolwork.
“Well, I’m the oldest, so you all should listen anyways, and we’ll be fine if we aren’t caught!” Lisette said with a laugh.

And so, the kids were off, and despite their hesitance in the beginning… They would find out that the adventure was well worth it!

There were a lot of cool creatures outside…

There was a perfect place to sit to relax and to not get messy…

And there are flowers that you can pick the petals off of!

“Wait! Is that a beehive?” Lisette called out, dropping her flowers. “There’s no bees, either! We could get some honey!”

With that, Lisette made Winfrey pick her up, and as she reached for the beehive to get the sweet treat…

“I knew you kids would be out here!” Father Claude had found them, and he was furious.
The kids were so dazed, after falling atop each other, that they could barely respond as Father Claude dragged them back.

“Well, we’re never doing that again! But it was fun.” Peaches said, sadly thinking about the cake.

“Next time, we’ll sneak out at night instead.”
